Architectural Illustration

The hand drawn elevation captures a section of the Grade II listed Porthkerry Viaduct near Barry in the Vale of Glamorgan. The structure was completed in January 1900; designed and engineered by James and William Szlumper to deliver coal to Barry Docks.

There are three sizes available:

A3 (42cm x 29.7cm / 16.5in x 11.7in)
A2 (59.4cm x 42cm / 23.4in x 16.5in)

A1 (84.1cm x 59.4cm / 33.1in x 23.4in)

The smaller format drawing (A3) is printed onto 250gsm Tintoretto Gesso Paper, a slightly off-white paper with a lightly hammered surface texture. The illustration is packaged with a sturdy grey-board backing and sealed inside a cellophane case.

The larger format drawings (A2 & A1) are printed onto 220gsm Cartridge Paper, a similar slightly off-white paper with a lightly hammered surface texture. The illustrations are carefully rolled, wrapped, and posted inside a sturdy cardboard tube.
